What We Offer

We provide versatile wardrobe solutions, specialising in everything from bespoke suits, coats and tuxedos to high-end casual essentials. Don’t see exactly what you’re looking for? Let’s collaborate on a custom project tailored to your needs.

Pricing Note: Quotes below are starting points for a 2 piece suit / shirt. Final pricing will vary based on your selected fabric and finishes.

    • The Consultation: We begin by discussing your needs and selecting from the finest materials, drawing on Alex’s 15 years of expertise to guide the direction.

    • The Blueprint: Rather than starting from zero, we utilise an established block pattern as our foundation.

    • The Specification: This pattern is meticulously adjusted to your individual measurements, accounting for your unique proportions, posture, and stylistic preferences.

    • The Build: Your garment is crafted to these exact specifications, blending modern efficiency with traditional attention to detail.

    • The Final Refinement: Once the garment is ready, we conduct a final fitting to ensure the silhouette is flawless and the finish meets our standards of "quiet confidence".

    • The Consultation & Cloth: We begin with an in-depth discussion of your requirements, selecting from an exhaustive library of the world’s most prestigious cloths, rooted in Alex's Huddersfield heritage.

    • The Paper Pattern: A unique blueprint is drafted by hand from scratch, specifically engineered to your anatomical nuances and posture—no pre-existing blocks are used.

    • The Baste Fitting: The garment is initially "strike-stitched" in its rawest form. This "baste" is fitted to your body, then entirely deconstructed to refine the paper pattern before the final cloth is cut.

    • The Build: Your suit is constructed with a full floating canvas, allowing the garment to breathe and mold to your shape over time. This stage involves specialized artisans and up to 60 man-hours of hand-labor.

    • The Forward Fitting: A second fitting occurs where the garment is near completion, allowing us to fine-tune the drape and balance of the final silhouette.

    • The Hand-Finish: Every buttonhole, silk lining, and edge-stitch is finished by hand, delivering a garment with the "quiet confidence" and longevity that defines the West End standard.

    • The Cloth Selection: We start by navigating our library of the world's most prestigious cottons, including Albini and Thomas Mason, to find the perfect weight and weave for your requirements.

    • The Specification: Every detail is defined by you, from the collar type to the cuff style, to the discreet placement of a monogram if you so desire.

    • Measurement & Posture: We take comprehensive measurements, accounting for your specific build and how you prefer the shirt to sit against the body or under a jacket.

    • The Build: Your shirt is crafted to these exact specifications, utilising high-stitch counts and reinforced seams to ensure durability and a refined handle.

    • The Final Handover: Once finished, the shirt is tried on to ensure the silhouette is sharp and the proportions are exactly as intended.

  • "Excellent suits, excellent service. Very pleased"

    Managing Director - ING BANK

  • "I've had a number of suits from Alex and I have to say, they are the best in the wardrobe. The entire process, from the very start, is very enjoyable and not at all stuffy. Alex is an easy guy to work with on something that has the ability to be a bit stuffy - but he ensure it is not at all, and the end product makes it very much worth it!"

    Partner - Fladgate

  • "Remarkable professionalism, phenomenal eye and just lovely to work with. I’ve been a client for 10 years and the attention to detail and pride in the output is second to none. This has kept me coming back and back."
